About Us
At Summer Street Vet Clinic, our whole team is committed to providing high quality, compassionate care for your pet. We provide a comprehensive array of veterinary services including routine vaccinations, microchipping, desexing and dentistry as well non-routine medical and surgical procedures such as emergency surgery and orthopaedics.
We practice preventative medicine and wholistic wellness and we stock a wide range of over the counter products including prescription diets, flea, tick and worm products, medicated shampoos and various skin, arthritis and dental products etc. We can also advise you on associated services such as veterinary rehabilitation, puppy preschool, dog training and pet grooming.
We are a small animal hospital, meaning we are a dog friendly and cat friendly clinic but we also treat rabbits, guinea pigs and birds. We are equipped with state-of-the-art in-house diagnostic equipment, including full in-house pathology, a scanning AI microscope, ECG, blood pressure monitoring, digital x-ray, ultrasound, anaesthetic machines and patient monitoring equipment for extra safety with anaesthetics.
Our friendly team are all pet owners and animal lovers and our priority is always the wellness of your pet. We understand how it feels when your pet is unwell, and our goal is to ensure your pet lives a healthy and happy life. If your pet is unwell or needs surgery, we do everything possible to ensure that their experience with us is pain free and fear free and we always treat them with kindness and compassion.
Our vets also work closely with several veterinary specialists including SASH (Small Animal Specialist Hospital), UVTHS (University Veterinary Teaching Hospital Sydney) and Sydney Exotics and Rabbit Vets (SERV) to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care if specialist referral is necessary. In addition, we also have access to visiting specialist veterinary ophthalmologists who regularly travel to the Orange region.
We always welcome new clients and all patients in need of routine medical and surgical care, as well as emergency cases.
